The Stour Centre

The Stour Centre is operated by Ashford Leisure Trust on behalf of Ashford Borough Council and operates a social inclusion policy - everyone is welcome to come and use our facilities.

 There is disabled parking close to the bottom of the inclined walkway up to the Main Reception area, and further disabled parking facilities to the rear of the building with lift access directly to the reception level.  A seating area is conveniently located half way up the inclined walkway for resting.

 The building is Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant with disabled changing and toilet facilities, and emergency call points.

 Reception is fitted with an induction loop and large print versions of the general leaflet is available upon request.

Customers with young children will find family sized changing cubicles and baby change areas in the building.

 Hoists are available to assist customers into the poolside Jacuzzi and main pool and Spa Jacuzzi if required.  The leisure pool has a gently sloped beach area to ease the access into the leisure pool.

 The centre has concession pricing for all activities (excluding memberships) applicable to customer 60+ years, those in full time education (16+) and on low income (evidence required).  Please contact the main reception for more details on 01233 663503

There is free disabled parking in front of the main reception area.

The building and pathways are accessible to outside facilities and is Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) compliant with full internal access to all areas and includes disabled changing, showers, toilets, lift and emergency call points.

 There are baby changing facilities throughout the building.

Kingsnorth Recreation Centre

There are disabled parking spaces at the centre and a ramp to access the building. Disabled toilet, shower and changing facilities are also provided.
